Empresa Electrica Ambato Regional Centro Norte S.A. wanted to consolidate dispersed systems into a robust, scalable, reliable, high-availability IT infrastructure to ensure that the company can continue to operate and created a robust database to manage millions of monthly client records and histories and allow access to up-to-date information. The challenge was to extend visibility of up-to-date information to four agencies and authorized collection centers to facilitate and accelerate bill paying for clients and accelerate the time required to issue bills and collect payments for customers' electric consumption. Empresa Electrica Ambato Regional Centro Norte S.A. worked with Oracle Partner ESERV S.A. to implement a robust, reliable, high-availability data infrastructure that integrates disparate systems as well as ensured high availability and system performance with Oracle Real Application Clusters.
