ENAV S.p.A. wanted to standardize and simplify internal, back-office procedures and automate project management processes. The challenge was to improve the capitalization of resources in large-scale investments, which totaled US$1.72 billion between 2004 and 2007 and improve control of project costs and increase the effectiveness of controls by integrating the organization's accounting and assets modules. ENAV S.p.A. implemented Oracle Projects to integrate disparate legacy systems and provide the organization with a standardized approach to cost control and worked with Oracle Consulting to consolidate all departments onto a single enterprise resource planning solution.
