France Televisions wanted to improve overall enterprise performance, spanning financial, human resource, and quality management functions, to maximize the value of service provided to the public and enable managers to track performance across departments and levels as part of the EDEN project, by providing them with performance indicators derived from business data, such as channel viewing figures, filming expenses, and other key data. France Televisions gained flexible tools for the management needs of all the channels' business divisions through a standardized enterprise performance management platform based on Hyperion Essbase and designed and deployed a 67 gigabyte data warehouse, to consolidate data from internal sources such as production as well as from external sources such as channel viewing figures.
