Executive Summary

Hans Anders Retail Group (HARG) wanted to boost effectiveness and efficiency in the company's stores by streamlining the sales process and make customer information more accessible to authorized employees, and make the best use of it. The challenge was to implement a modular multilingual system in order to support expansion to Belgium and France and in the future to other countries as well. HARG had Oracle Partner AXI build a thin-client, Web-based multilingual Point-Of-Sale (POS) and CRM system using Oracle infrastructure software and created a centralized data repository, ensuring more up-to-date information and making data sharing and reuse possible.
