Horry Telephone Cooperative (HTC) is one of America's biggest telephone cooperatives. This case study discuses HTC's need to display individual bills online and the solution provided by SwiftView. HTC had introduced online bill services in 2002 but they were very slow because of the time spent on Converting PCL files to PDF format. Thus, the company was in a need of a faster tool which could also allow greater control over the CSR's bill viewing while at the same time saving disk space. HTC turned to SwiftView for it is especially skilled in accessing and viewing selective pages form huge files. SwiftVeiw checked the file sizes and made online rendering very fast. It also downloaded any macros needed by a PCL document. Further, the storage of the macros by cache allowed the implementation of online forms with reliability and accuracy. The paper leads one to the conclusion that SwiftView has helped HTC improve its internal system considerably. An increased number of customers can view e-bills retained for a greater period of time. According to the paper, SwiftView's technical support has been highly responsive. The implementation has caused a huge improvement in productivity, which has been noted by the client company.
