Kapsch, a leading international supplier of road traffic telematic systems, won the contract to provide and run the Czech Republic's first electronic road toll system. Kapsch looked to HP to ensure the high availability of its critical services under stringent Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Kapsch engaged HP Outsourcing Services to deliver and implement two Prague data centres, then manage and support them for ten years. Using a series of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) recommendations and standards, a HP Consolidated Service Desk solution and sophisticated HP monitoring and management tools, the specialist outsourcing team remotely monitor the status and efficiency of the Kapsch's data centre environment.
