The distributed labs and host services team of Royal Bank of Canada helps to facilitate the testing of software and hardware changes for bank branches, call centers and other bank divisions, including investments and insurance. The team needed a tool that would allow it to automate processes as the demand for new technologies and services increased. Using IBM Tivoli Provisioning Manager, the team can provision software after hours unattended. Staff, from the most senior to the most junior, can launch automated tasks to maintain consistency and reduce human errors.
