IT Frontier Corporation wanted to unify operating tools and administration processes across multiple data centers and improve service quality while reducing operating costs in data center administration. The challenge was to develop expertise in IT Services Management and establish best practices to gain excellence in customer satisfaction. IT Frontier wanted to obtain ISO 20000 certification and selected to partner with Sun Managed Services to achieve certification. With consulting support and a clear road map defined by Sun, IT Frontier's IT Platform Group ITF Integrated Service Center achieved ISO 20000 within six months, and the company now plans to implement the certification process in its remaining data centers.
