Netherlands-based IT company Systony specializes in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) deployment and customized software development for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Over the past five years, Systony has been using the Maximizer CRM, which is a proven and affordable CRM solution. The solution was able to meet requirements of the office-based staff of the company. But for their mobile users, who could only connect to the CRM system via a PC from remote locations, Systony deployed MaxMobile. This was an add-on application that allowed members of the staff to access the Maximizer CRM from a smartphone. This allowed the mobile staff of the company to capture data in real time. Soon, the MaxMobile application was moved to BlackBerry smartphones to avail of the speed it worked with. The application worked much faster on a BlackBerry smartphone compared to any other. Systony has a hosted email service and didn't want to have to install new servers while shifting to BlackBerry smartphones. Therefore, MaxMobile was made accessible on BlackBerry smartphones using the BlackBerry Internet Service. It was also provided on other BlackBerry solutions such as BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry Professional Software. Therefore, Systony rolled out BlackBerry smartphones with BlackBerry Internet Service from Vodafone.
