As a midsize IT services firm, Intertec Consulting has 300 employees working in six offices around the world - and e-mail communication with one another and with customers is vital. The company's older Lotus Notes messaging system was not getting the job done. Frequent downtime and sluggish performance frustrated employees and deprived them of needed messages and contacts.
