Executive Summary

Jordan, Jones & Goulding (JJG) wanted to automate the request for information (RFI), contract management, and scheduling processes for all projects and improve communication with contractors and accelerates approval processes via clear submittal processing and tracking. The challenge was to improve system stability and productivity, while reducing system cost. JJG implemented Oracle's Primavera Contract Management to determine submittal status at any given time, ensure it has adequate resources in place to review all submittals, and respond to contractors within 30 days and enabled two people to handle more than 90% of all contractor submittals - typically 500 to 600 submittals for each project.
