Free registration required

Executive Summary

The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) were established in 1971 as South Korea's first higher-education institution specializing in science and engineering education and research. The systems biology and bio-inspired engineering laboratory at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) relies heavily on computer simulations to conduct its research. The lab chose to implement a parallel-computing cluster based on the Windows HPC Server 2008 operating system so that researchers can more easily use and manage the system and to make results immediately useful through streamlined data processing.
