As a large retailer in Mexico grew and prospered, the firm faced an increasing challenge of processing over 50,000 invoices each month from 800 suppliers who delivered tens of thousands of products to the retailer delivery centers across Mexico. This required significant paperwork processing and re-keying to translate supplier-side information to the firm's enterprise resource planning system, while meeting Mexico tax regulations. To address these issues they turned to IBM. The solution uses OM B2B (B2B Object Manager) and CFD Plus (Creating and Receiving Orders) from Azurian, which enables the exchange of documents with suppliers in electronic form.
