Lavazza SpA wanted to illustrate Lavazza's results in income statements and key performance indicators over the entire supply chain, from raw coffee bean sourcing to finished product distribution and reduce information processing time to facilitate business analysis and decision-making. The challenge was to increase capabilities for planning and follow-up, analyzing results for new development initiatives and reinforce strategic planning, scheduling, and control processes. Lavazza SpA used Hyperion Financial Management - System 9 to create a new control model supporting the entire cycle of strategy-setting, annual planning, and periodic reporting, as part of its Integra project.
