Law Firm Trims Servers by 75 Percent, Boosts Agility by Using Virtualization
D'Asti had accumulated 12 servers and was adding about two servers a year. Its server room was full and its budget was being consumed by IT expenses. D'Asti learned of the Windows Server 2008 R2 operating system with Hyper-V technology from its technology provider, Best IT. The firm purchased three new servers as Hyper-V hosts and unplugged its 12 old servers.
