Lufthansa CityLine wanted to introduce a modern, transparent human capital management application in the personnel division and create a standardized data basis for all personnel management applications. The challenge was to develop self-service applications for more than 2,500 employees. Lufthansa CityLine implemented Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Capital Management's Payroll and Mobile Time Management modules for the complex wage and salary calculations of flying staff and ground staff in different shift models as well as adapted solution to German legislation without deviating massively from the standard application version.
