For years, the cooking utensils manufacturer Berndes used the operating system Debian Linux and the office software This caused various drawbacks. In particular with external contacts, created numerous compatibility problems. Linux also caused issues such as the lack of printer support. However, the effort needed for a complete rebuilding of the IT environment seemed too high for a long time.
