With no consolidated view of the 800 capital investment projects it ran every year, Novo Nordisk was finding it difficult to track both project status and performance against budget. With information often out of date and derived from a number of spreadsheets, Novo Nordisk needed a more effective approach to project and portfolio management. Novo Nordisk uses CA Clarity Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) to track a range of activities (locally and centrally) - from new factories to production line upgrades. As well as providing real-time status updates for these projects, the CA solution has also helped to simplify financial management across multiple currencies.
