OSG Ship Management (GR) wanted to replace isolated, legacy and localized Human Resources (HR) applications with a fully integrated global system and expand functionality to provide training and recruiting capabilities and provide visibility into employment histories. The challenge enabled regular HR and payroll reports to be generated in English remotely and dynamically, reducing time and overhead for local HR managers and staff and ensure efficient system deployment to meet the company's five-month deadline. OSG Ship Management implemented Oracle HR applications to reduce overhead by eliminating the need to query disparate, custom databases and provided geographic-specific functionality - ensuring compliance with Greek employment laws, regulations, and payroll requirements.
