Executive Summary

PhosAgro wanted to increase effectiveness of internal business processes in an enterprise that spans the full cycle of chemicals production and replace disparate legacy systems covering distinct functional areas - such as inventory assessment, calculations and payments, and fixed asset management - with a single integrated system. The challenge was to centralize the IT platform in a single location (the Apatit division) and migrate all operating units to this central platform. PhosAgro deployed Oracle E-Business Suite applications for financial, order, and supply chain management to create an integrated IT infrastructure, unifying business processes across all eight operating units.
