Policia Nacional de Colombia wanted to implement an integrated IT infrastructure to provide quick access, visibility, and information transfer throughout the organization and develop customized software to enable the agency to respond to emergencies and easily replicate the software to all cities The challenge was to systematize emergency calls for easy classification to enable quick and timely decision making and improve interaction among emergency and mass transit agencies to efficiently coordinate responses to emergency calls. Policia Nacional de Colombia worked with Oracle Consulting and Oracle Advanced Customer Services to implement an IT infrastructure, based on Oracle applications, to provide visibility and improve information transfer.
