The Spoleto Franchising Ltda. wanted to Improve decision making by integrating and updating information that was being maintained on spreadsheets Centralize fragmented franchise-related data, which was kept in binders and on microcomputer discs, to improve communication with and support for franchise owners and improve ability to share information with collaborators, such as the Franchisee Council (Conselho de Franqueados) and the Marketing Council (Conselho de Marketing). The challenge was to reduce reliance on e-mail for disseminating marketing materials, which lead to excessive network traffic and, at times, information loss. The Spoleto Franchising Ltda. worked with Oracle Partner TW Services to implement Oracle Identity Management and Oracle Portal.
