Stevenage Borough Council, situated in Hertfordshire provides advice to its customers regarding effective ways of investing money. However, the burning concern for the council was its outdated hardware and software that needed to be updated in order to work efficiently. This case study provides a detailed understanding of how the IGEL technology helped the Stevenage Borough Council to find solutions for many business challenges it had to face due to its outdated and cumbersome hardware and computing devices. The greatest requirement for the council was to own a user-friendly, easily manageable and long lasting computing solution. To fulfill these requirements the Stevenage Borough Council availed services from IGEL Technology which is a leading IT solutions provider. This paper describes how IGEL brought healthy changes to the existing computing devices and software products of the Stevenage Borough Council. It renewed and updated the features of the hardware and software to provide latest and much faster operational functions. IGEL services also enabled the user to easily manage the machines and related software. Apart from overcoming the above challenges, IGEL also provided great security and flexibility to desktop and PC applications. It also allowed the Stevenage Borough Council's IT engineers and management to have remote access to IGEL computing devices. The case study is therefore able to provide an insight on how IGEL Technology successfully served the purpose of providing effective solutions and services to its client.
