Boehringer Ingelheim Group wanted to standardize IT processes and improve support for business users. The challenge was to provide framework for change management. To improve efficiency and provide a framework for delivering and managing IT services, Boehringer Ingelheim Italy implemented ITIL methodology with help from Sun Learning Services. Boehringer Italy provided ITIL training for IT employees at all levels and reorganized the service desk to align with business needs.
