Symphony Communication Co wanted to replace disparate management systems with a single, integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform and integrate financial, asset, inventory, order, and procurement information in a central repository to improve data quality. The challenge was to reduce the amount of manual work needed to consolidate accounts at the end of the month and enable staff to conduct business intelligence analysis. Symphony Communication Co engaged Oracle Certified Advantage Partner iCE Consulting to implement a new ERP system based on Oracle E-Business Suite modules and increased productivity by automating processes such as purchase order requisitions, inventory management, and debtor tracking.
