Taishin Bank to Save US$1.54 Million a Year by Automating Image Process Management
Over the past decade, Taishin Bank installed six image process management systems using technologies from external providers or developed internally. Over time, the technologies used to develop the systems have either become outdated, or technical support for them has terminated. As a result, Taishin Bank was under pressure to revamp the systems. This was particularly important as the bank moved to diversify its businesses and user demand on the image process management systems increased. To reduce paper consumption and address system issues, Taishin Bank decided to use Oracle Fusion Middleware technology, including Oracle BPEL Process Manager, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle WebLogic Server, and Oracle Universal Content Management, to develop an enterprise Imaging and Process Management System (IPMS) that integrates with existing legacy systems.
