Tarjeta Nevada wanted to provide a flexible, up-to-date, high-availability IT infrastructure to guarantee secure information access and transfer, as well as operational continuity and accelerate time required to authorize credit-card purchases to improve the company's competitiveness. The challenge was to maintain a historical record of operations and transactions to provide statistics on account statements, sales, credits, and debits for customers and associated businesses. Tarjeta Nevada worked with Oracle Partner Ayi & Asociados to create an integrated application infrastructure built on a flexible, high-availability platform and implemented Oracle Database Enterprise Edition with Real Application Clusters and Oracle's Automatic Storage Management option to reduce system downtime and ensure operational continuity.
