A global leader in manufacturing of innovative equipment for the fabrication of semiconductor chips, solar photovoltaic cells, etc. with presence in 14 countries and 5000+ Teamcenter users across geography, performing concurrent engineering. The key challenges of this engagement were: highly complex PLM infrastructure environment with heavy multisite data sharing and synchronization across continents and 99.99% compliance to application support, instance management, release processes and enhancements. The customer partnered with Mahindra Satyam for this multi-year and multi-million dollar engagement to manage the PLM application support along with many other IT applications. To address the key challenges, they provided 24 X 7 support for all PLM applications (see PLM Landscape) and servers (18+ instances) across Production, Quality, Staging and Development environments.
