Telecommunications Firm Upgrades Solution to Improve Communications
NetVision was Israel's earliest Internet service provider. Today it provides a wide array of communications solutions including domestic and international telephony, information security services, hosting services, anti-virus services, and telephony equipment. To help its employees communicate better internally and reduce costs, 013 NetVision had deployed messaging and collaboration solutions based on Microsoft technologies. As a part of that deployment, the company enabled enterprise voice services for 100 of its employees. With that success, 013 NetVision decided to upgrade its solution by deploying Microsoft Lync Server 2010 to provide enterprise voice, in addition to presence, instant messaging, and conferencing capabilities, to help improve communication. It will also take advantage of more flexible architecture in Lync Server to help simplify administration.
