The 24-Hour Organization: High-Speed Wireless Network Connects Health Centers in Venezuela

Free registration required

Executive Summary

Since its establishment, the 24-Hour Organization has experienced significant growth consistently adding to its network of clinics in Venezuela. The challenge was doctors from three clinics needed high-speed image and data communications for more collaborative diagnoses and care. The 24-Hour Organization eventually decided to create its own platform for data exchange; the solution is based on a Motorola Point-to-Point (PTP) wireless broadband network. The system is providing reliable high-speed links between the three locations at a reasonable price that is well within the project's budget parameters.
