Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri (Turkcell), the leading communication and technology company in Turkey, wanted a standardised enterprise portal solution to improve customer service and staff productivity for its rapidly expanding business. With a reputation for innovation in IT, Turkcell decided to pilot the project in 2008. Turkcell call centres handle 300,000 calls a day - up to 80 per cent of them answered using the information in the portal.
