The University of New Orleans wanted to increase enrollment after a severe drop following Hurricane Katrina while also dealing with employee shortages and recruit and retain students in a highly competitive market. The challenge was to make it easier for students to evaluate the university and apply and track the effectiveness of recruiting and marketing programs. The University of New Orleans integrated Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Customer Relationship Management and PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions to streamline student administrative processes and improve productivity as well as allowed university staff to spend more time marketing the university and recruiting students to help increase enrollment.
