Web Training Improves Delivery of Community Services
The Queensland Department of Communities (QDC) provides and coordinates a wide range of services, their challenge is to train non-governmental organizations to use web-based financial reporting system, reduce travel time and costs and make trainings more convenient for agency staff and partners statewide. QDC chose Cisco to overcome these challenges. They implemented Cisco WebEx technology. Cisco WebEx technology is ideally suited for hands-on software training sessions, annotation tool allows employees to highlight key information easily and one-Click meeting functionality gives staff flexibility to address user concerns immediately. The results of deploying Cisco increased number of trainings from five per year to one, pushed adoption of online acquittal system to almost 100 percent and enabled staff to resolve 100 percent of user technical issues.
