Under the aegis of the secondary school Reform Project in Guyana (Funded by the World bank) the government of Guyana went to tender for a complete solution that would move the management of schools into the modern era through the use of technology and new processes. Guyana wanted to Move the management of schools into the modern era through the use of technology and new processes. To master these needs Guyana chose Fujitsu. Fujitsu proposed a solution from the Capita group in the UK. In the schools the SIMS software was used, and in the Ministry the EMS software was used. With this solution school were able to track and understand student related performance.
