Worldmark used IFS applications to replace their legacy architecture, which was very old. They replaced the old architecture with the use of an integrated solution from IFS that came a multi-site, multi-language solution. With the deployment of IFS, the company has been able to streamline key processes and obtain greater visibility across different processes of the organisation. Because they have been able to re-use information, it has led the company to generate quotes more quickly, while eliminating any unnecessary variations. On the whole, the solution has led to saving of time and money for Worldmark as well as for its customers. Worldmark believes in supplying their customers locally in the countries in which they operate. The company likes to offer flexibility to customers while quickly and effectively assisting them with problems. With the growth of the company, they needed the capabilities of an effective ERP system to stay competitive. Therefore, the IFS system was installed on a central server at the company's headquarters in East Kilbride, Scotland. Once the solution is deployed, all business operations of the company and their sales offices from across the world worldwide will be running on the same platform. This also includes manufacturing sites of the company in the UK, Mexico, The Netherlands, Hungary and China. All of these will be fully integrated sites. This will be possible by maintaining a common platform and standardizing the global footprint.
