Everyone needs a little time off, but letting Project 2007 know this can be a little tricky. Project managers schedule vacation days for people on their teams by modifying resource calendars. When Project 2007 schedules the project, it uses a resource calendar to schedule the tasks that do not have a fixed duration and that have resources assigned. For example, if a resource has a week of vacation specified on his or her resource calendar, Project will not schedule the task for that week. In this webcast, a simple vacation day for a resource named Sarah is created.
