Dave Shaffer is Vice President of Product Management at Oracle for the Oracle Integration products, covering the areas of SOA, BPM, Event Processing, Governance and Service Bus. Prior to Oracle, he has held leadership roles in consulting, product management and software development over the last 15 years at a wide-range of technology companies including Collaxa, Apple Computer, NeXT Software, Integrated Computer Solutions and others. Dave is a frequently invited speaker at conferences and author in industry journals for Web services, BPM and SOA topics.
Sumit Singh is Director, Verizon IT shared services, responsible for SOA enablement and Business intelligence. Mr. Singh has lead the early adopter program for Oracle SOA technologies within Verizon and extending it to cloud computing. He has partnered with Oracle on implementations of SOA Suite, Business Activity Monitoring, Oracle Data Integrator and has been a guest speaker at Oracle OpenWorld 09 and Gartner conference on cloud computing. Sumit holds a BE from IIT Kanpur, India and MBA degree from UTD, USA.
