A Compact Multiband Fractal Cantor Antenna for Wireless Applications
The tremendous development in communication field accelerates to increase in wireless devices and systems to ascertain wireless connectivity between devices, results in consumption of wireless band. Recently, compact broadband antennas that have been designed for mobile devices hold metallic strips, non planar, active device and photolithographic process which are partially applied to develop. This necessitated in developing a compact multiband antenna, which is essential for wireless applications to satisfy the needs. The prototype tends to fit IEEE 802.11 series, WLAN, GSM, WiFi, PCS, DCS frequencies. The frequency 2.4GHz is intended for IEEE 802.11 WLAN applications. Dual band or multiband is a solution for such wireless.
