A Efficient Way to Minimize the Impact of Gray Hole Attack in Adhoc Network

This paper analyzes the gray hole attack which is one of the possible attacks in ad hoc networks. In this paper, the authors are mainly focus on the impact of gray hole attack on adhoc network & also find its consequences. Ad hoc network is a wireless network without having any fixed infrastructure. Wireless mobile ad-hoc networks are characterized as networks without any physical connections. In these networks there is no fixed topology due to the mobility of nodes, interference, multipath propagation and path loss. Wireless networks can be basically either infrastructure based networks or infrastructure less networks.
