The advent of the Internet has made it possible for companies to change the way they conduct their businesses. E-procurement, e-tailing, e-marketplaces are but a few examples of internet abled business applications that have revolutionized certain processes in supply chains and have given rise to e-supply chains. To ensure success, it is contended that a proper needs analysis is necessary before a company should embark on the e-business journey. The primary goal of this paper is to uncover the various factors that affect the implementation and performance of e-supply chains and subsequently to propose a framework that will exhibit the nature of the relationship between the said factors.
