A K-NN Based Approach for Reusability Evaluation of Object Oriented Based Software Components
Software Re-usability is primary attribute of software quality. Software Reuse promises significant improvements in software productivity and quality. The authors' approach, for identification and evaluation of reusable software, is based on software models and metrics. Hence, in this paper they have taken the dataset and framework of metrics, discussed in their earlier papers and With the objective of taking advantage of the features of the KNN clustering, in this study KNN clustering based approach is used to economically determining re-usability of software components in existing systems as well as the reusable components that are in the design phase.
