A Modified Maxweight (MM) Scheduling Algorithm for Urgency Weight Calculation in Congestion Control of Mobile Adhoc Grid Layer
A number of congestion control techniques are proposed to control congestion in the network for scheduling the jobs based on priority, without the considering the nature of the application. A Modified Maxweight (MM) scheduling algorithm for urgency weight calculation for congestion control in mobile adhoc grid is presented in this paper with the concept of priority and urgency weight. Priority of the job is calculated from the fuzzy inputs viz., IDentity of Application (AppID), Packet Size (PS), and Transmission rate (Tr) arrived from the packet. The priority obtained from fuzzy inference engine is fed as the input to the proposed MM urgency weight calculation method for the urgency weight calculation. The scheduling of the jobs to the participating nodes is based on the urgency weight.
