At present there has been a tremendous growth in the computer networks and wireless networks. Due to the enormous growth of voice, audio, video and data applications over the wireless networks, the requirement of congestion control mechanism is also developing along with the development of wireless network applications. The congestion in the network has drastically affected the Quality of Service (QoS) requirements of the applications. Active Queue Management (AQM) is the technique of signaling Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) sources from middle routers and its major purpose is to lessen the congestion and also satisfy the QoS requirements.
