Executive Summary

Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks (MANETs) belongs to a class of wireless network that is a spontaneous network can be formed dynamically and randomly without the need for infrastructural setups; therefore the mobile hosts communicate over multi-hop wireless links. In addition to the high degree of mobility, MANET nodes are distinguished by their limited resources such as power, processing, bandwidth, and memory. This paper introduces a new Efficient and Reliable On-demand Routing Protocol for MANET (ERORPM) that uses the general technique called breadth first search which gives the shortest path for data transmission and routing.
