A New Optimal Reverse Reactive Routing Protocol for the Shortest Route in Ad Hoc Networks

In this paper, the authors propose a mechanism in which power consumption in a sensor network can be reduced greatly by taking into account the fairness factors and to increase the probability of nodes for successful packet transmission with lowest possible Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) in a crowded environment. In other words they propose a high throughput and spectrally efficient network. The power consumption of the network reduces drastically when the clustered approach is adopted, which has been confirmed using the Friss transmission formula.
