A Novel Distributed Adaptive Channel Allocation Algorithm in Mesh WLAN Network and Its Routing QoS
A novel distributed adaptive channel allocation algorithm is proposed in this paper for mesh WLAN network, which needs no AP communication with each other and the prediction about network layout. Simulation shows that the proposed channel allocation algorithm is more adapted to great throughput and heavy load WLAN network. Based on the proposed channel allocation algorithm, routing QoS with AODV and OLSR are simulated and compared by quantitative analysis of the key performance factors. A heterogeneous wireless networking solution involving the proposed channel allocation algorithm and OLSR is put forward, which has been applied in the practical deployment.
