Secure communication is effected by encoding and decoding a simple message using chaotic non-linear circuits. A Non Linear Circuit is designed for generating the chaos in its output voltage. Time evolutions of generated chaos are studied with respect to two of the operating parameters of the circuit. Chaotic regimes of the chaos generator circuit are identified. An encoder circuit is designed. Encoding of the message is effected at different message frequencies and amplitudes. The message frequency and amplitude are optimized for effective encoding. A novel technique is used to demonstrate efficient decoding of the message.
