A Panoramic Video Distributed System Used in LAN
In real-time monitoring process, resolution must be set against field vision. There are two problems in the real-time monitoring procedures, such as: the field vision is too small to capture the target completely, a larger field vision with low resolution, especially in the distributed computing environment. In order to solve these problems, a new type of real-time panoramic monitoring systems becomes necessary. In this paper, the authors designed a panoramic video distributed system used in LAN based on SIFT algorithm. With abundant experiments, by trying three main technologies network architecture, such as: SDH, RPR, and layer 3 Ethernet, they choose the last one as the network architecture used for their panoramic video distributed system, whose date transiting in LAN.
