A Security Routing Protocol Based on Public Key Matrix for Wireless Sensor Networks
Owing to the wireless sensor networks are often deployed in hostile fields or no man's land, the network nodes and communication links are not guarded properly. The security protocols must be considered in the WSNs. Although many researchers focus on symmetric cryptographic algorithms, these algorithms cannot thoroughly solve authentication and resilience issues against physical capture of nodes. And the authentication server is unsuitable for the WSNs due to the resource constraint of the nodes. In this paper, the authors propose a security protocol based on public key matrix. All public keys in public key matrix are generated by a public key seed and the corresponding private key is secret information for third party.
