Acheving QoS in Wireless Networks Using QCSMA/CA Algorithm
A primary challenge in wireless networks is to use available resources efficiently so that the Quality of Service (QoS) is satisfied while maximizing the throughput and reducing the Delay of the network. In a wireless network, a sophisticated algorithm is required to schedule simultaneous wireless transmissions while satisfying interference constraint that two neighboring nodes cannot transmit simultaneously. The scheduling algorithm need to be excellent in performance while being simple and distributed so as to be implementable. Many scheduling algorithms are used to achieve Qos of Wireless networks. Recently Carrier-Sense Multiple Access (CSMA) algorithms used to achieve the maximum possible throughput in ad hoc wireless networks.
